The Built-in Slot Loading DVD player design is convenient and saves space. The 15DLV76 is DivX Home Theater Certified and allows playback of DivX, AVI and MPEG4 (.ASF) compressed files downloaded from the Internet, from a personal computer and stored on a CD-R/RW. The JPEG Viewer enables a user to conveniently display digital photographs on the LCD screen.

"Toshiba 15DLV76 15 inch LCD TV is a great unit. Crisp picture, thin profile, light weight, and convenience of built-in DVD. Some of the reasons I picked the Toshiba combo unit were good reviews from others, better than average reliability compared to other companies who offered similarly-sized screens, and price [...]. We plan to use ours in our motor home and in the kitchen when we are not travelling. The only complaint I have is that the audio could be louder.

"I love the size, clarity of Toshiba 15DLV76 15 inch LCD TV, etc... I was a little disappointed to find out they were 2006 TV's and are not digital ready. My misconception on purchase that newer LCD's would just be digital ready. I should have asked and the ad probably should have stated such. Other than that... nice item, good seller. "

"Toshiba 15DLV76 15 inch LCD TV occupies my desk, next to my Computer CRT. From up close to 6 feet away it produces an awesome picture. The DVD player will also play CDs that you have burned on your computer (and others too of course).

Toshiba still builds screwy remotes, perhaps because Japanese read vertically, back to front. I've owned 3 Toshiba TVs all with dumb remotes. Their choice of button shapes is totally stupid. There are two (only two) "pill" shaped rocker switch buttons...the one on the right is for volume control, the one on the left - you'd expect channel up and down, right? - wrong - its an "inputselect" for game or TV something I might use once in my lifetime. The channel select buttons are below in the "menu set" section and form part of a circle: the top and bottom arcs of the circle move the channels up and down, the left and right arcs (you'd expect volume, right? -wrong- these are for menu selections when setting up the TV.

For some reason Toshiba thinks the never used "sleep" button is an important function and locates it next to the Power button.

The most important button to me, the MUTE button is hidden among the channel number buttons as is the channel recall (return).

With training you will be able to use the remote relatively smoothly and the TV is great and great looking so it's worth the effort - or you can buy a universal remote." "

"I purchased Toshiba 15DLV76 15 inch LCD TV so that I could take it along in my RV and watch DVDs (using a generator). I have used it only once but it performed excellently. The picture was bright and clear. I researched DVD/LCD combos and this one was the best contrast and resolution. Not the least expensive, but close enough to the next lower for much higher quality. The Buy.com price was about 100.00 less that Bestbuy when I purchased mine. Pros: Excellent picture, small foot print, DVD combo, price compared to other lower quality models. Cons: When a DVD is inserted after power up it requires manually selecting "DVD" on the remote instead of recognizing that a DVD has been inserted and ready for play. Sound is good quality but could have a higher volume output.
