For those conscious about purchasing a US product, this was made in China. For the sale price of $199 I paid it seems an excellent buy.

The picture is a bit difficult to adjust and but it is a big plus that there are five adjustments for picture including: contrast, color, brightness, tint, and sharpness with dozens of fine adjustments for each of the five main settings.

There are also two preset adjustments for "back light" and "color temperature" but these have only three choices each and aren't too useful at least in my experience.

The volume and channel up and down arrows are easy to find and use and there is a red power button (all other buttons are grey) so it is easy to use basic settings. Other buttons are tiny and not so clearly marked except for the basic number keys for entering channels.

The TV set up and adjustment buttons are in a separated area in the lower third of the remote.

There are two speakers built into the unit. It says "Dolby Digital" on the package and the sound is at least average.

The TV sets up on an easel like base built into the unit. It can fit almost anywhere.

Has a video input jack so hooking up cable, a satellite dish or a VCR or DVR player is easy.

    "Sylvania LC-155SL8P 15 inch LCD TV is a nice television for the money. It was bought for use in small room where size of set was an issue. Couldn't be happier with the ease of set up and clarity of picture. The only slight problem is that the set will not "stand" in a completely upright position without being propped up (a stack of coasters under the back is our adjustment); this problem would not be an issue if somebody was going to use a wall mount.
