"After much research, we bought Sharp LC15SH7U 15 inch LCD TV to sink into a wall niche in our bathroom. My husband will use it to watch CNBC when he is shaving, and the TV will be fine for that. The picture quality is quite good, and the set up is easy. The sound is rather thin, though acceptable in a smaller room. It reminds me of the car speaker mono-sound one experienced at drive-in movies. (Apparently, no 15" sets have good sound yet, so tinny sound isn't peculiar to this Sharp.) When I removed the base, it took me a while to realize that, after you unscrew one screw that is deeply sunk, you have to turn the TV over and it will simply fall out. After two screws are removed, the base just slides out. Sharp, by the way, was singularly unhelpful in telling me how to remove the base safely; in fact, their agent said the base was not designed to be removed. But a salesman at Circuit City said it's flat-screen 101 to know that all those TV's are designed to be hung, and therefore have removable bases or bases that flip up, which double as wall mounts. He is the one who told me you sometimes have to turn the TV's over to get the deeper screws to drop out. We will be hanging this TV on the Sanus low profile VMFL1 in black, which we also bought from Amazon. It's a snap to install the mount. The only reason I am not rating this TV a 5 is that the sound quality is thin, and the Sharp sales reps were not well-informed on the product's features. "

"Sharp LC15SH7U 15 inch LCD TV is perfect for our porch, good flat screen look for very little money. Takes up very little table top space. Good picture quality but iffy sound quality. Fine for the news and such.

"I bought Sharp LC15SH7U 15 inch LCD TV at Costco because of the size. It fit a special cabinet in my kitchen that was occupied by a standard 13"TV. The sound quality isn't very good. But my main complaint is that it continuously loses the digital feed from my basic cable. It also doesn't integrate analog and digital seamlessly as does my larger Magnavox

"Thanks to the other reviewers, we made Sharp LC15SH7U 15 inch LCD TV with our eyes wide open. We wanted to replace the 9-inch TV in our kitchen with a larger one. We are very happy with the picture and the product design. Other reviewers had problems with the sound. We agree it is tinny. One reviewer had plugged in some old computer speakers. We didn't have any old ones but purchased a new pair for very little money, making the resulting product just about perfect for our space and needs."
