    "SYLVANIA LC155SL8P 15 inch LCD TV is one of the easiest TV's to set up and use that we have owned. The menu-driven instructions are crystal-clear and work as described. Picture quality over standard cable TV is excellent, as is the sound. DTV reception over cable is amazingly clear, almost HD-like. We would heartily recommend this unit to anyone looking for a small easy-to-use set in a bedroom, office, kitchen, or (as in our case) dining room."

    "I've never owned an LCD tv so I can't say how it compares. I find SYLVANIA LC155SL8P adequate, with a good picture. I can't see any difference on an HD broadcast, though. The side to side viewing angle is pretty wide, but the angle from top to bottom is more constrained for good viewing. And the "kickstand" on the back to allow it to stand up on a table or dresser isn't adjustable. I have mine propped up on something to give the best viewing angle. Other than that, it's a pretty good television, good remote, fine sound, and I thought a good price."

    "SYLVANIA LC155SL8P 15 inch LCD TV is very good for a place where you need a small TV. Other reviewers must have expected to get digital cable channels for free - this does include digital tuner capable of receiving over the air digital broadcasts from your local stations.

    "I do not have SYLVANIA LC155SL8P 15 inch LCD TV particular model but have own TWO 14" Sylvania LCD TVs and you need to be warned. After three years of use, both within a matter of three months (!), had their transformers go out. This means their power and the ability to stay on is gone. These TVs I believe are made for Sylvania by Funai and they are garbage. I paid $300 for each of these TVs and now neither works. That is horrible durability and value for the money. And repairing them is no easy or inexpensive task: at least $200 for each with no guarantee of future durability. Maybe we should just go back to the tried and proven tube technology. Stay away from these."

    "Unlike most other new TVs with ATSC tuners,SYLVANIA LC155SL8P 15 inch LCD TV unit will NOT properly tune the free Digital HD or SD channels that are included by many cable tv providers now.
The documentation leads one to beleive it will work properly. A call to their support line confirmed it will NOT. "
