    "I recently bought Audiovox FPE1507DV 15 inch LCD TV primarily for use in our RV. We have satellite TV at home and in the RV, but wanted to be able to receive over-the-air (OTA) digital when traveling in the RV. After researching converter boxes, I decided I'd rather go with a digital TV. It is of the 4:3 ratio (the old shape screen), which works well for me, since it fits in the RV better. When watching, you can select to stretch the picture either vertically or horizontally depending on whether it's digital or analog, so that the picture fills the entire screen.

It comes with a detachable table-top stand, and has the standard VESA mounting holes on the back for mounting on a wall bracket.

The picture is excellent - very sharp when viewing a digital signal. The audio quality is much better than the 15" LCD currently in the RV. It does seem, however, that the lowest volume setting is quite loud - I can't turn it down quite as much as I'd like.

I've only tried it out so far in the house, using an amplified set of rabbit-ears. We live about 60 miles from the broadcast stations in Boston MA, and the digital reception is excellent. I expect reception in the RV to be even better, since it has an amplified, rotate-able roof-top antenna. An interesting feature of digital TV is that essentially you either have an excellent picture....or no picture; there's generally no middle ground where you might have a rather snowy picture.

The set was easy to set up. It comes with both a 12V cord for mobile use and a 110V converter for home use. At first look, the remote is a little overwhelming, for it has LOTS of buttons. But it becomes evident that a number of buttons allow you to control certain functions without having to go into the menu - a very handy feature. There are several video and audio modes, depending on what you're watching; you can easily cycle through the options using the appropriate button to change the brightness/contrast of the picture or the audio from music to voice, for example.

The Channel Scan feature will seek out and store all channels, both digital and analog. There is a Channel Add feature, which will check for other stations and add them to already-scanned stations. This is handy, for digital OTA reception is much more dependent on antenna orientation than analog. So you can scan with the antenna in one direction and then turn it 90 degrees and scan again without losing the first ones.

I have not yet watched a DVD on it, so I can't address how well that works.
